Here’s an interesting article which traces the roots of Film Noir back to the pulp fiction era with mention of Raymond Chandler, Dashiell Hammet and “the lurid plotting of the pulp novel.” Double Indemnity, Film Noir and Pulp Fiction from the New York Times
Paul Malmont’s The China Death Cloud Peril gets another book review, this one from the Sun-Sentinel.
The recent pulp convention, Pulpcon 35 made the news. Here is an article quoting John Gunnison as well as announcing a new line of pulp reprints written by L. Ron Hubbard.
