Vintage Horror Stories
The foundation for today's horror stories was set in the 19th Century by the likes of Edgar Allen Poe, Mary Shelley and Bram Stoker. In the early 20th Century, the pulp fiction magazines created a new market for young writers to experiment and explore the limits of the horror genre. From the pages of Weird Tales and Unknown came authors and their works that have defined the genre of horror as we know it today.
