Pulp Paperback Reprints for Sale

During the 1960s and 1970s a number of the classic pulp heroes made it back into print via the paperback reprint market. Here is our selection of classic pulp stories in paperback format. Usually no interior illustrations and sometimes possibly edited, these books offer a snapshot in time of the pulp classics.

 

Carroll & Graf published 8 Spider paperbacks, each with 2 Spider stories during the 1990s.

Blue Steel

Blue Steel: The Ultimate Answer to Evil by Spider Page.

In 1979, an unpublished Spider story made it to paperback, albeit with character name changes due to trademark issues.

The Spider Pocket Books

Pocket Books published a series of Spider paperbacks in 1975. Note that they had updated covers and were slightly edited to fit the times better.

 

The Spider Pocket Books Dimedia published the unabridged Spider story Satan's Death Blast in this 1985 paperback.

The Shadow had a number of paperback reprints in the 1960s and 1970s from publishers including Bantam, Jove and Pyramid.

Pulp Fiction Paperback Reprints Dimedia also published the G-8 adventure Scourge of the Steel Mask
